Two security checkpoints (B/C and D/E) — the post-security relief areas are not interchangeable if you pick the wrong checkpoint. The Concourse Connector between concourses reopened in 2024, but during construction phases pet relief locations have shifted multiple times — verify with airport signage on arrival. PDX actively enforces pet-carrier rules with $250 fines.
2 post-security indoor pet relief areas (one for B/C concourses, one on Concourse D near gate D5), plus 1 pre-security outdoor area at baggage claim by the MAX light rail. Both indoor areas have artificial grass, fire hydrant, sink, bench, and waste bags. Recently rebuilt as part of the PDX Next terminal expansion.
